HEAVY METALS AND WASTES

Mercury and others.

Heavy metals and inorganic wastes: wastes generated by the chemical, metallurgical and mining industries, as well as other sectors, represent an important challenge for their environmental divisions. We provide a solution compatible with the dispositions of the Basel Convention and the Minamata Convention.

If your industry employs heavy metals in its process (led, mercury, arsenic, cadmium and others), you already know that these are a great challenge in terms of human health and environmental safety. And while reprocessing can allow you to maximize the use of your inventories, at a certain point it is not viable and you need new material – requiring an environmentally sound final disposition for the wastes. Other sources, such as saturated filters, must also be administrated with care and processed by us.

Each waste has a different process and destination. Our engineers and the staff specialized in field operations perform correct packing, international transportation and fi8nal disposition of your heavy metals. We offer a solid chain of custody until the treatment center in Europe. We provide concrete solutions to your industry: from salt microcells disposed in ultra-high security landfills, to deep salt deposits which are permanent (extracting the substance from the biosphere). We have solutions that will meet your needs and waste flows.
